About Luke Donatelli, MD

Dr. Luke Donatelli, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, and his medical degree from Weill Medical College of Cornell University, located in Manhattan. Dr. Donatelli then completed a joint residency at the Columbia University and Cornell University campuses of New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. During residency, Dr. Donatelli was trained in all aspects of adult and pediatric Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. After residency, Dr. Donatelli completed a fellowship in Rhinology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he focused on advanced, minimally invasive techniques to treat disorders of the nose and sinuses.

At Johns Hopkins, Dr. Donatelli served as an Instructor in Otolaryngology, and was active in the education of residents. He specialized in treating patients with complex sinus issues, including patients with symptoms that were not resolved by previous sinus surgery. Dr. Donatelli developed an expertise in treating patients with sinus papillomas, as well as other benign and cancerous tumors of the sinuses. He also developed an expertise in treating patients with cerebrospinal fluid leaks, and disorders that occur at the boundary between the eyes and the sinuses, including excessive tearing and eye swelling due to thyroid disease.

Dr. Donatelli has presented award-winning research at local and national meetings, and was recognized during training for his outstanding patient care.

Dr. Donatelli treats both adults and children. His clinical practice includes the full range of disorders of the ear, nose and throat. He has a particular interest in treating diseases of the nose and sinuses.
