About John Kuryan, MD
Dr. Kuryan is a native of Philadelphia and grew up just a few miles from our office in Northeast Philadelphia. During childhood, he was a member of the Philadelphia Boys Choir and later attended Central High School.
After graduating from an 8-year combined BA/MD Medical Scholars program at Widener University and Drexel University College of Medicine, he completed a residency in Pediatrics at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then completed a fellowship in adult & pediatric Allergy & Immunology at North Shore-Long Island Jewish.
Dr Kuryan has had numerous publications and presented his research at local, national and international conferences. He was thrilled to return to his hometown to join Allergy & Asthma Care in 2012, where he served as the President & Managing Partner.
